CrossFit Rebels Athletes of the Quarter

This Quarter, we have TWO athletes to celebrate; Anne and Mark! Both athletes exemplify dedication, commitment and hard work.

Anne and Mark both show up consistently, have overcome health challenges, have a positive attitude, and continue to be a true inspiration to those around them!

INTERVIEW WITH THE WINNERS

What is your favorite WOD?
Anne: I like any WOD with squats, jump rope, deadlifts, and overhead lifts.
Mark: Cindy. I like the three simple movements and 20 minute intensity.

What is your least favorite WOD?
Anne: Anything with kettlebell swings and planks.
Mark: Murph. The running!

What do you like most about CrossFit?
Anne: CrossFit continually builds my confidence so I can actually do more!
Mark: The coaches push me to challenge myself; and all the Rebel athletes are amazing!

Do you think CrossFit has made you stronger, faster, and healthier?
Anne: I’m physically and mentally stronger, at my age and condition, it is imperative to maintain and keep growing!
Mark: Since joining Rebels, I’ve been able to manage my blood A1C levels and I’ve lost 40 pounds!

What has been the hardest/most difficult skill or movement to learn?
Anne: Movements with my left arm, due to injury; however, if I keep working, I will improve.
Mark: Anything upside down.

How has CrossFit changed your life?
Anne: 18 months ago, I couldn’t get on the floor, do a burpee, sit up, or touch my toes. Now, my legs are really strong, and I can do all (and more) of these movements!
Mark: I sleep better. I have more stamina. I have better tolerance for hot weather. I have way more energy at the end of the workday.

It has been a rewarding experience to be a part of your CrossFit Journey.
