Private Coaching


Push, girl!Sometimes starting anything new is so overwhelmingly nerve-racking that it’s just easier to start up privately, one-on-one, and then work your way into a group after you’re more confident in your abilities.  Whether you desire Personal Training (or Private Coaching, as we call it here) just because you prefer to train one-on-one or you want to get a little stronger, or perhaps you’re still on the mend from an injury or health condition, or are seriously deconditioned…or, maybe you just desire to get true push ups and great form under your belt before you jump into a CrossFit class, we offer one-on-one sessions here at CrossFit Rebels.


The first thing we will do is have you come in and meet with a coach, fill out some obligatory paperwork, and show you around.  We’ll want to understand your personal goals, what your exercise and health history are, and then see at what level you are at currently so we can establish a program specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace.


Coaches providing personal training services at CrossFit Rebels will be able to help with specific goals and or weaknesses with their clients, working on imbalances, mobility, weak movements, skills and strength. In order to do this well, you need training, experience and track record with results.

Coaches who providing these personal training services at CrossFit Rebels are Head and Lead Coaches and have either have taken and passed an accredited personal training certification or are pursuing such a certification and are approved by the owners. Personal Trainers are certified through a nationally accredited personal training certification (ACSM, NSCA, ACE, AFAA, ISSA or equivalent).  In other words, you’re getting what you pay for, and it’s not “private training” performed by an unqualified CrossFit Coach or personal trainer who didn’t have to independently test for his/her certification.


Goals are the cornerstone of any training program.  The greatest success comes when we can establish achievable, measurable and realistic goals.  Whether your goals include:IMG_3045.JPG

  • get stronger, more powerful
  • train for an event
  • garner support and extra accountability
  • lose body fat / improve body composition
  • gain flexibility and joint range of motion
  • improve blood pressure, cholesterol levels, or other health-related measures…

The one thing you won’t find here at CrossFit Rebels is a bunch of weight machines, treadmills, and mirrors.  In fact, the only mirror we have is over the sink and in the restrooms!  What you will find here are medicine balls, pull up bars, Olympic weightlifting stations (don’t be scared!), jump ropes, plyometric boxes, gymnastic rings, tractor tires, sledge hammers, sand bags, weighted vests, climbing ropes…all tools to get you fit, in a unique, fun atmosphere, where the training you receive will translate into your daily life.
