@Monge,
Agree Kimberly!
And congratulations to you and the rest of the bunch who competed. It was certainly the most interesting challenge yet - especially with the sabotage efforts toward the end!!!! :)

@Norm, If you are travelling, yes you can do travel WODs. If you're in town and do some other type of training, that doesn't count toward the training, and we're not counting protein shakes after "other" types of training - so protein snack that time up!

Also, Monday's WOD, if you did it, can count toward the three WODs this week.

@Cole, So, Ms. Miranda - you're like my husband turned me into, huh? I grew up and lived for 30+ years w/out being used to having dessert or something sweet after dinner, and now I can't stop thinking about it! :)

A couple of things to help:
1) Check out this link to a blog post by Amy Kabul who writes for Robb Wolf. It must have come to my email box just for you :)
http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=51021876189adc8125a6a9578&id=944489be56&e=28ca9785d3

2) Here are a couple of sugar free paleo treats out of Everyday Paleo and Paleo Comfort Foods. Most of the sugar free recipes use overripe bananas or dates to sweeten the recipes.

PALEO APPLE MUFFINS
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups almond meal
4 eggs
1 organic apple, finely diced
1 very ripe banana
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 heaping Tbsp cinnamon

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Using a fork, mash the banana in teh bottom of a large mixing bowl
3. Add all other ingredients and mix by hand. The batter will nto be super thick, but more like a cake batter.
4. Using a bit more coconut oil, grease a muffin tin. Fill the tins about 3/4 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes. You will know they are done when you can insert a toothpick in the middle of a muffin and it comes out clean.
5. Serve hot out of the oven. Makes approximately 16 muffins.

BANANA NUT BREAD

Ingredients:
3 cups almond flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
4 large eggs
2 very ripe bananas, mashed
3 tsp vanilla
3 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Combine the almond flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut oil and eggs
4. Mix the flour combination into the oil and eggs, and stir until well blended.
5. Add in the mashed bananas, vanilla, and cinnamon. Fold in the walnuts.
6. Pour batter into a greaed loaf pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Re: baking soda/baking powder. Thank you for bringing that up. Yes to both. These are a part of teh description "modern paleo" diet. Their use is in such small quantity we're not goin got call party foul on that one!
