USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis

We do today’s WOD in honor of….

USAF SSgt Timothy P. Davis, 28, who was killed on February, 20 2009 supporting operations in OEF when his vehicle was struck by an IED.

Davis grew up in Montesano, graduating from Monte High School in 1999. He was an accomplished wrestler who once took seventh in a state tournament and played on the football team, his mother said.

His unit was based out of Hurlburt Field, Fla., where he was part of the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron and worked as a combat controller, his wife said.

Timothy is survived by his wife Megan and son T.J.

CrossFit Rebels is once again excited to announce the Rebel Throwdown is on again. September 9 Rebels will host 160 athletes competing for the fittest in Clearwater. STRENGTH BIAS PROGRAM IS STARTING BACK UP IN SEPTEMBER!

Time to get that butt you’ve been wishing for! Applications will be accepted August 21 – September 1. The program begins on Monday, 9/11 and will run for 16 active squat sessions; Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It is imperative that you’re a competent squatter for this program. ASK A COACH ABOUT YOUR SQUAT!

This strength cycle will focus on the 20 Rep Squat Program tailored to fit the programming at the box. In other words, no, we will not squat you MWF and then again T/Th! We’re not that evil!

Additionally, should you be interested the new Beyond The Whiteboard option soon to be offered at Rebels, this app will automatically calculate your loads and make the prep easier for you.

Coach Phil will be administrating this program – so questions can be directed to him or any of the Head Coaches.
